Tony Hancock. Tony's TV set has broken down. Appalled at the idea of a TV - less evening, he and Sid try various ruses, including joining a family who are so intent on their TV that they don't notice the intruders

Aug 5, 2008 - Brilliant If only comedy was as good and as innocent as these. No swearing no fighting and no Filth. Good work mate

Feb 2, 2009 - it's good because it strikes at the phoney 'intellectuals' who purport to hardly ever watching tv.

Feb 5, 2009 - So glad I found this. It's wonderful to see these again. And now I have my 11-year old roaring his head off with laughter. The old classics still are the best. Thanks for supplying them.

Sep 19, 2009 - In those days you could only edit video with a razor blade and a microscope so it was virtually the same as doing it live.

Sep 19, 2009 - Well this thing was broadcast live I presume, considering when he says "Hhhhancock's half hour" at the beginning, his coat is the same as in the first scene. This is the same for many episodes.

Jan 21, 2010 - Fabulous. His Long John Silver skit is great stuff. Worth every second of clip. Love the loaf of bread in front of the wireless, too. Thanks, I remember it first time around. Am looking forward to part 2.
