Oct 18, 2007 - Though we all are entitled to our opinions (isn't democracy wonderful!) in my humble opinion, the Goons are the best! Remember, this show came about after 6 years of a hellish war and grew during the austere period after said war. Long live the Goons! :-)

Oct 19, 2007 - I like it that they occasionally lose it themselves. It was as much fun for them as for the audience. It's very visible that it was originally a radio show :-)

Jul 6, 2008 - Loved the shows! In the late 1950's it was broadcast here in New Zealand at 6:00 p.m. every Sunday. I had to be home to listen to it! Tape recorders were not available to school-boys... I have 60 plus shows now on mp3 and still laugh at them... R.I.P. Spike, Harry and Peter.. You were #1 then, and still are!
