The Economy Drive. Having come home from holiday to find that Sid has left all the lights on, the TV running, and failed to cancel the milk and the papers, Hancock decides to go on an economy drive. Problems arise in a self-service cafeteria, and even a short stay in hospital fails to save them any money.

May 30, 2008 - My girlfriend absolutely hated Hancock up untill she watched this episode. Genius. Im only 21 and my mates think im old fashioned to watch this. Its probally due to lack of violence, rape, and drugs. "whens the coranation YAH YAH YAH" lol

Jul 28, 2008 - I can watch this again and again. The only ones I like better are 'The Americans Hit Town' (Radio episode only I think) and the Bomb Disposal episode (can't recall the title - sorry). Thanks for posting this.

Nov 18, 2008 - I'm 19 and i get so much joy from watching 'Hancock's Half hour'. I thank my father for introducing me to these great comedies at such a young age. I know i'm young but i also listen to 'Round the Horn'; watch the 'Q' series and all 'Carry on' films. They don't make them like they used to, that's for sure!

Mar 18, 2009 - This is a prime example of how you write good comedy and perform good comedy. Hancock and James - legends!!! Many so called comedy writers could learn a lot from these two, and Galton and Simpson too. This episode is pure gold. "When's the coronation? Nah, hah, hah, hah!!! :D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D
